Breastmilk Storage Bottles

Breastfeeding, even for a short time, provides your baby with the best start in life. It helps to protect them against allergies and illnesses such as vomiting and diarrhoea, and also reduces the risk of many serious illnesses.

Breastfeeding saves time – and is free ! You do not have to buy, measure and mix artificial milk, and there are no bottles to warm in the middle of the night.

But should you need to store your milk, if you are a working mother or if dad is helping with some of the feeds then you'll need to refrigerated or freeze milk. Your milk may be stored in either hard-sided plastic or glass containers with well-fitting tops or freezer milk bags that are designed for storing human milk. Disposable bottle liners are not recommended

Lansinoh have both Breastmilk Storage Bottles or Breastmilk Storage Bags to help breastfeeding mothers.

All the Lansinoh products are Bisphenol-A free and the pump and breastmilk storage bottles are made of 100% polypropylene, the preferred plastic for breastmilk storage. And they are now available at Everyday Maternity

Emma Jane Breastfeeding Kit

Emma-Jane Breastfeeding Kit - now available at Everyday Maternity.

We have a great new kit for Breastfeeding Mothers, here at Everyday Maternity. The Breastfeeding Kit from Emma-Jane Maternity contains the following:

  • 4 x Bra Extenders
  • 6 x Washable Breast Pads (3 pairs)
  • 1 x Nursing Band
  • 1 x Laundry Bag

These breast pads from Emma-Jane Maternity are ideal to soak up leaks and absorb moisture away from the skin and will protect your clothing from breast milk and prevent staining. The machine washable breast pads are an environmentally friendly option. They are placed in your nursing bra to protect outer clothing and for additional comfort they are moulded.

The bra extenders are in 2 widths and in black and white. They add 3 rows of eyes to the back of the bra to ensure it fits an ever-changing shape. No sewing required.

The nursing band conveniently reminds which side to feed from next. Nursing mothers are often recommended to alternate which breast they start feeding from. Starting from the wrong breast can be painful.

The laundry bag ensures that all these items can be machine washed without
damage.

Lansinoh Breast Pump

Lansinoh products are popular with the customers of Everyday Maternity, and have been awarded numerous awards from pregnancy magazines, so we are happy to expand the range of products available. The latest addition is the Bisphenol-A free Manual Breast Pump.

Bisphenol-A is a chemical considered to be potentially harmful to human health and the environment. It has been known that scratched and worn polycarbonate feeding bottles will leach this chemical into liquids. Studies suggest that this chemical can have disruptive effects on hormone circulation. So it is great that the Lansinoh Breast Pump is free of this chemical. Some of the key features of the bottle are:

Comfortable
Unique ComfortSeal™ cushion provides steady, comfortable suction for a secure fit and faster milk flow.

Safe
Made from 100% Bisphenol-A free polypropylene - the preferred plastic for breastmilk storage. Dishwasher safe.

Ergonomic
The ergonomic handle puts no strain on the wrist, providing efficient one hand pumping for ease in imitating a baby's nursing rhythm.

Portability
Compact size, and very light, the pump can be assembled in under a minute.

Efficient Fast, gentle, convenient – no need for batteries or electricity.

Standard size
Standard size allows you to pump into most baby bottles.

Accessories
The Lansinoh breast pump has only 7 parts. It comes with two extra valves and a spare silicone diaphragm, as well as two storage bottles, bottle rings and specially designed sealing disks to prevent leaking. Breastmilk storage bags can also be bought separately.

Maternity Wear Photo Shoot

We are on location today shooting some additional shots for the Spring Maternity Wear collection.

Where I hear you ask..........

Chester, we answer, with a sigh.

Well we like to bring you affordable maternity wear, so as nice as a photo shoot in the Caribbean would have been, we kept the costs in mind, and opted for close to home.

The new shots will be uploaded later in the week, and we have three great new Maternity Swimsuits to go on the site, so call back and see what's new at Everyday Maternity soon.
